RESTORER OF TIMES AND SEASONS

So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust... Joel 2:25a (NKJV)

Jehovah is the Great Restorer! Anything that the spirit of loss has stolen can be recovered by our God. He is the Restorer of Times and Seasons. He is the Restorer of Years (Joel 2:25). He assures you that notwithstanding the loss of time, “you shall eat in plenty.” The use of the word “plenty” infers that when God blesses you, it will not come from a rationed supply, but from His super-abundant supplies. Out of His infinite riches in Christ, the Father never ceases to release, give, and supply. Ever since Adam and Eve fell in Eden, God's desire and plan has always been to restore to humanity all that was lost.

God is the Restorer of Youthfulness. Our eternal Father can reverse the natural ageing process and restore youthfulness and vigour to you: “Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psa.103:5). Tapping into His grace, you can live like a youth throughout life, despite your age. Job received additional 140 years after his trial. Moses at 120 years retained his youthful strength and vigour (Dt.34:7). Caleb remained dynamic and vibrant when his peers were either dead or retired (Jos.14:6-13).

Right now, you may be brooding: “I feel so ashamed of the years I have wasted.” The Creator and Upholder of Time can give you more of it. The Controller of seasons can stretch the seasons for your sake. He says: “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten...the consuming locust...You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame” (Joel 2:25-26 NKJV). God will restore the years you wasted as an unbeliever – wandering in sin and unrighteousness.

God will restore your wasted efforts and lost opportunities. Your temporary deprivation will give way to abundant restoration. The night the Israelites left Egypt, the labours of four hundred and thirty years were fully paid! In this Year of Grace, Goodness, and Glory; and in this Month of Prophetic Restoration, God is restoring your wasted efforts, times, and seasons. The years you thought were lost and gone will return to you in grand style. As you draw nearer to Him in faith and obedience, He will rejuvenate and renew your youth. The Lord will restore your years. Your years will no longer be wasted.
