“The Lord answered me, and said, WRITE THE VISION and MAKE IT PLAIN upon tables that he may run who reads it” – Habakkuk 2:2
Habakkuk illuminates on the RIGHT RESPONSE to the LIGHT of VISION: “The Lord answered me, and said, WRITE THE VISION and MAKE IT PLAIN upon tables that he may run who reads it” (Hab.2:2). As a living seed, Vision has a conception and grows through a series of phases to maturity. Conceiving or Discovering the Vision is followed by clarifying, cherishing, committing to, and communicating it.
Conceive or Discover the Vision: “I will stand my WATCH, and set myself on the RAMPART, and WATCH to SEE what He will SAY to me…” (v.1a). Vision is received at the Prayer Watch and on the Rampart or Tower of Meditation. The greatest Visions start in the Sanctuary of Silence, far away from the busy, noisy, hustle-and-buzzle of life.
Clarify, Define, and Write the Vision: God instructed Habakkuk to write out the vision he saw, to make it plain or simple, so that those who read it may run with it. Writing down what God says or shows provides undeniable proof, reassurance if a situation tends to deny the promise, and helps to capture the full picture. Journaling our revelations and experiences with God is important for many reasons, namely:
Cherish the Vision: Personalise the Vision. Think on it by day; dream of it at night. Pray about it. Pay attention and be sensitive to what God says. Expect God to answer and to provide more detailed instructions.
Commit to the Vision: Turn it into a Mission. Obey it as a LAW – “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the LAW, happy is he” (Pro. 29:18, KJV); “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not DISOBEDIENT to the heavenly VISION” (Acts 26:19).
Communicate the Vision: To followers, partners, the team, or helpers of destiny, to motivate active response.
Patiently Pursue the Vision: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, WAIT for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” (v.4). If our situation does not match up with our revelation, we must speak to the situation rather than allow it to overrule the revelation. Ultimately, the Vision will speak victoriously and not lie. Let’s fight for the Vision and never give up!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
