Bible Meditation:
John 14:1-31

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee – Isaiah 26:3

Perfect Peace is rooted in three fundamentals:

  • The Name of the Lord
  • The Word of God
  • Righteousness

The NAME of the Lord signifies His Person and Presence.

The Name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe (Pro. 18:10). “For He is our peace…” (Eph.2:14).

Isaiah 9:6 says: “For unto us a child is born….and His Name shall be called…the Prince of peace”. JESUS is the powerful Prince of the Paradise of Peace. His birth ushered in an era of peace (Lk.2:14). He is the Source and Sustainer of peace. Outside of Him, life is full of frustration. Abiding in Christ, you have the guarantee of peace – perfect, permanent and perpetual! Peace is not the mere absence of problems; it is the Presence of a Person!! The world – its religions, governments, wealth and pleasures – has no peace to offer, only troubles and pain (Jh.16:33).

The WORD of God signifies His Voice, His Wisdom, His Will and His Covenant, as encapsulated in the Gospel.

God relates with His people primarily by His Word. To partake of His peace, you must receive of His Word! Perfect peace is our covenant portion and privilege, and His covenant is sure (Psa. 89:34).

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee” (Isaiah 54:10).

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (Romans 10:15)

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; (Ephesians 6:15).

Psalm 85:8 declares: “I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for He will SPEAK PEACE unto His people and to His saints”. God is willing to speak peace, if we are willing to hear, trust and obey. Hearing Him ensures our establishment and prosperity (2Chr.20:20).

Never forget these two roots of peace: God’s Name and His Word!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
