THE SECRET PLACE (1)

"He who dwells in THE SECRET PLACE of the Most Highshall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" - Psalm 91:1

GOD, by His Light, draws the hearts of all True Believers in Christ to THE SECRET PLACE: "He who dwells in THE SECRET PLACE of the Most Highshall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" (Psa. 91:1). There is Blessedness and Joy in cultivating a secret life with God. The Lord is calling and directing our hearts to a renewed commitment to that Secret Place of Relationship with Him. We do well to give ourselves to the Intimacy of abiding in the Presence of the Almighty. The Power of Heaven is unlocked on earth when we devote ourselves to the Secret Place of the Highest. The Secret Place is the Utmost Secret! God wants us to accept the Great Invitation into His Secret Place.

God will have us say "Yes"!" to a daily, fervent pursuit of Jesus in the Secret Place. He wants us to gain momentum and a holy fascination to pursue the greatest gem of human existence - a personal, intimate, passionate, living relationship with the glorious Creator of the Universe! The Secret Place is an arena of sheer delight. In this quiet nook, the Living Word is laid before me. Jesus Himself stands at my side. The Holy Spirit is gently washing my heart. My Love for the Lord is awakened as I meditate upon the gracious words of His mouth. My spirit is ignited and my mind renewed. I talk to Him, and He talks to me in the language of intimate friendship and fellowship.

Some Believers carry the conviction that the Secret Place is vital to an overcoming life, but struggle on a regular basis to sustain this Place of Intimacy as a daily lifestyle. Indeed, the present world system is satanically and strategically designed to squeeze out our time and energy for the Secret Place. Even the church usually focuses her best energies on getting Believers busy. We know that sermons and teachings, although edifying, can never replace the sustaining power of sitting at the Lord’s feet and hearing His Voice for ourselves. There seem to be relatively few Believers whose secret life with God is so vibrantly life-giving that it kindles a strong desire in others to follow their example.

When we learn to access and dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High, we are positioning ourselves to discover the key to true Kingdom fruitfulness and personal fulfilment. It is as we devote ourselves to the Secret Place with Gid that He births within us Secrets for His Service, that will usher us, in His time, to our increasingly extending circles of influence, to neighbourhoods, cities, and the four corners of our spheres. The face of Christianity is positively transformed, generation after generation, by those who discover the Power of the Secret Place.
