SEED-TIME-HARVEST AND FAVOUR

Whoever seeks good finds FAVOUR, but evil comes to one who searches for it – Proverbs 11:27 (NIV).

There is a Living Principle that runs through the Word of God: the SEED-TIME-HARVEST Principle. It states as follows: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Gen.8:22). The same principle is expressed in Galatians 6:7 – “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Favour responds to the Seed-Time-Harvest principle: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Gal.6:9)…“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord…” (Eph.6:8). Seeds of “well doing” will “in due season” reap multiplied harvests of blessings, if we do not faint. SEEDS of FAVOUR are never wasted. Over TIME and on the right soil, they’ll bring forth a bountiful HARVEST of greater favour!

Sowing seeds of righteousness, solving others’ problems, offering a word of counsel and seeking the good of others and especially of the Kingdom of God are seeds which are bound to produce harvests of favour (Pro.11:27). Learn to select and sow your seeds of righteousness through thoughts, attitudes, words and actions, and in due course your harvest of favour will accrue in bounties!
