Psalm 132: 1-18

“Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let Your SAINTS SHOUT FOR JOY” – Psalm 132:9

God’s Will for His people is that the SHOUT of JOY drowns all voices of weeping and tears of regrets (Ezr.3:13). There are many occasions in scripture when people shouted – either positively or negatively. Here are few of the positive examples:

Shout of initial consecration: And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces” (Lev.9:24). The Jews shouted when God lit the altar on fire for the first time. This is symbolic of when a person gets saved; it is always a reason for shouts of joy (Lk.15:10).]

Shout of a King: “He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a King is among them” (Num.23:21). This is the shout of confidence that comes from a redeemed people when they know their King is in their midst.

Shout of Faith and Victory: So the people SHOUTED when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city” (Jos. 6:20). Anybody can shout after the walls come down; it takes faith to shout the Victory before the walls come down.

Shout of Faith awakened: Now the men of Israel and Judah AROSE and SHOUTED, and PURSUED the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell along the road to Shaaraim...” (1 Sam. 17:52). David’s faith-actions awakened the slumbering faith of the rest of Israel. It only took a spark to set the fire ablaze. We must no longer be silent in the face of satanic threats. Multitudes are waiting for the shout of faith to be triggered!

Shout of Grace:Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with SHOUTS of “GRACE, grace to it!” (Zech.4:7). May we be ignited with the Shout of Grace, Completion and Fulfilment!

Shout of Joy in the Works of God: “And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord: “For He is good, for His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid” (Ezr.3:11). We shout for Joy when we see the Kingdom of God advancing!

Shout of Ascent and Return: God has gone up with a SHOUT, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet” (Psa.47:5). This foresaw Jesus’ homecoming after Calvary: the saints and angels lined the streets and the angel of the Lord blew trumpets. “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a SHOUT, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first” (1The.4:16). What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see!

Above all, the SHOUT of JOY is God’s desire for His children:

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever SHOUT FOR JOY, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name BE JOYFUL in You” (Psa.5:11).

“Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; and SHOUT FOR JOY, all you upright in heart!(Psa.32:11).

Let them SHOUT FOR JOY and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant” (Psa.35:27).

“SHOUT JOYFULLY to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises” (Psa.98:4)

“I will also clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall SHOUT ALOUD for JOY” (Psa.132:16).

Beloved, it’s time to arise, break forth in songs of Victory and SHOUT FOR JOY!

Lord, clothe me afresh with salvation; let me hear Your Joyful sounds, break forth in songs and SHOUT FOR JOY in Jesus’ Name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
