Bible Meditation:
Galatians 5:1-13

“STAND FAST therefore in the Liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage” Galatians 5:1

In Grace we STAND! “Through whom also we have access by faith into this GRACE in which we STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” (Rom. 5:2). Grace takes a standing posture. Outside of Grace, humanity is cut-off, fallen short and distant from God: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom.3:23). Outside of Grace, man is weak and feeble, bending before every negative wind and influence. At the level of Grace however, we have access to God, and are enabled to STAND FIRM and rejoice in the hope of glory!

Spiritually, the posture of Standing signifies: Calling, Grace, Faith, and Victory. God commanded Moses: “…Rise early in the morning and STAND before Pharaoh, and say to him, “Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: Let My people go that they may serve Me” (Exo.  9:13). When he could have given in to confusion and perplexity, Habakkuk determined to take his stand: I will STAND my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am reproved (Hab.2:1). Paul admonished the Corinthians: “Watch, STAND fast in the faith, be brave, be strong” (1Cor.16:13). Grace will enable you to “stand perfect and complete in all the will of God” (Col.4:12b). Grace will enhance your calling, making you to stand out in your ministry office or assignments. Grace will guarantee you a name among the mighty: “These are the names of the men who shall stand with you…” (Num.1:5a)

Grace provides Liberty, but not as license to sin. Grace assures you of Peace, but does not permit Ease. Grace is not a level where you sit and slumber. Grace enhances diligence. Grace empowers your stance in spiritual warfare: “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to STAND” (Eph.6: 13). Grace transforms you from a spiritual weakling into a mighty man of valour. You no longer bend to sin or bow to Satan. You stand in salvation; you stand upon the eternal Rock. You withstand, stand and conquer in the strength of the Lord. By Grace, you are enabled to stand in the Liberty of the Spirit and in the Victory of Faith.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
