TOUCH OF GRACE

Bible Meditation:
Psalm 113: 1-9

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, GRACE. GRACE unto it – Zechariah 4:6-7

The RACE of Life demands the gift of GRACE.

Grace is one of the most commonly used words in the Bible, one of the greatest words in the Holy Scriptures, yet it is one of the least understood and appreciated words!

GRACE = God’s Resources At Christ’s Expense.

• GRACE is God’s unmerited favour, personalized in the Lord Jesus Christ: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

• GRACE is evidenced in the Lord of Creation stooping down to touch mere sinners:

Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them (Genesis 3:21).

Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, Who humbleth Himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! (Psalms 113:5-6).

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:6).
• GRACE is illustrated – though imperfectly – when the Queen of England moves amongst her subjects and touches them on certain rare occasions: the English refer to such as a touch of grace. The “sovereign” queen does not have to touch her subjects!\

• GRACE is the evidence of God’s love, concern and compassion for mankind.

• GRACE is the willingness and ability of God to use His power ANYHOW to bless ANYONE!

Prayer:
Lord, let me experience Your Touch of Grace more tangibly in every aspect of my life than ever before in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
