TOUGHENED THROUGH TOUGH TIMES

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold – Job 23:10

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: – 1 Peter 1:7

Tough Times are designed to toughen, not to terrify the believer!

That is why you are to: “count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” (James 1: 2-4).

The Lord is able to turn tough times into platforms for our promotion; and challenges into channels for our breakthroughs. He is able to turn your mess into His message, and squeeze out sweet lemonade out of the seemingly bitter ‘lemon-like’’ events of our lives.

We “pass through” tough times, we forge triumphantly through turbulent times; we do not rot, give up, drown or die in them.

 Psalms 23:4 – “ Yea, though I WALK THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

 Isaiah 43:2 – “When thou PASSEST THROUGH the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou WALKEST THROUGH the fire, thou shalt no be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”

What nature of tough times are you experiencing – valley, floods, rivers, or fire? You will triumphantly get through in Jesus name.

In Jesus precious name:
You will not be swallowed by the valleys of depression;
You will not be drowned by the floods of iniquity;
You will not be overflowed by the rivers of adversity;
You will not be burnt or destroyed by the fires of afflictions.

Get wisdom and understanding from 1 Peter 1: 6, 7 – “Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” Remember, your times are in God’s hands.
