You shall TREAD upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample under foot – Psalm 91:13
Beloved, our Father-God is greatly interested in all of our steps in Life, and could at various times call and motivate us to step-out, step-on, step-in or step-up. Today, we’ll meditate on what it means to “step-on.” This also means to “step over”, “tread on” or “tread upon.” The Psalm of Divine Insurance empowers the believer to “TREAD upon the lion and the cobra” and to TRAMPLE “the young lion and the serpent under foot.” These are creatures that can kill by attack or poison. They symbolize agents of spiritual wickedness that uniquely instil fear: the lion by its appearance, the cobra by its bite, the young lion by its roar, and the serpent or dragon by its fiery breath. Praise God, He “has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2Tim.1:7). In the name of the Lord you will put fear to flight and face your future with faith!
The lion and the adder represent Satan’s cruelty and poisonous deceit. By the power of the Almighty, you can march over every dreadful force, monstrous creature and all that they represent. Deuteronomy 33:25 declares: “Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; as your days, so shall your strength be.” When in the Spirit God makes your shoes iron and brass, lions and snakes become cheap meat under your heels, as you crush the enemies beneath your feet. Psalm 44:5 says, “Through You we will push down our enemies; through Your name will trample those who rise up against us.” Your faith in Christ can subdue every barrier, overcome vicious dangers, surmount obstacles, transcend limitations, and march over all hindrances.
The Lord Jesus reaffirms in the New Testament: “Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Lk.10:19). The Apostle also assures that: "God shall tread down Satan under your feet shortly" (Rom.16:20). Almighty God, who has Himself treaded down Satan under your feet, wants you to follow suit: to tread upon, trample on, walk on, step on, march over, stride on and forcefully set down your feet over all of the devil’s power. He will empower you to press down the enemy’s neck with your foot. Treading and trampling are deliberate and intentional actions, not accidental activities. As More-than-Conqueror in Christ, you shall intentionally tread and trample upon the adversaries, thus demonstrating dominion over every work of the devil.
God is our Master Model in Treading: “Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall TREAD down our enemies” (Psa.60:12; 108:13). Because He treads, you shall tread also! As He fights for you, He’ll ensure that you demonstrate dominion over every harsh adversary and wicked opponent. The Lord says: “You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet…” (Mal.4:3). They will never be able to tamper with your testimony of triumph. However, in addition to treading over oppositions, God wants you to tread over territories: “Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be…your territory” (Dt.11:24). He gave Joshua the same assurance: “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses” (Jos.1:3). This is our Month of Motivation. In what direction and over what territory is God motivating you to tread? Rise Up – It’s Time to Tread over enemies and over Territories!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
