Bible Meditation:
Ezekiel 34: 7-16

"For thus says the Lord God: 'Indeed I MYSELF will search for My sheep and seek them out'"– Ezekiel 34:11

The Lord God as the Good Shepherd specializes in VISITATION for RESTORATION: "For thus says the Lord God: 'Indeed I MYSELF will search for My sheep and seek them out'" (Eze.34:11). Divine Visitation is never a casual or routine visit; it is the active, personal intervention of the Almighty in the affairs of humanity to care, correct, comfort, heal, revive, and restore. The context in Ezekiel 34 is bleak: the shepherds of Israel had neglected the flock (vv.7-10). This led to scattering, vulnerability, and abandonment in a “cloudy and dark day" (v.12).

Verse 11 marks a dramatic shift, as God declared: "I MYSELF"! God stopped relying on intermediaries and promised to take personal charge. Divine Visitation often comes when human efforts have failed. God steps into our “cloudy and dark” days to rescue, gather, heal, and restore. The Good Shepherd is not distant; He is the Passionate Seeker. He doesn't wait for the sheep to find their way back; He goes looking. When God visits us based on this scripture, He is bringing back our lost joy, repairing our broken health, and gathering what was scattered.

The Lord makes personal commitment and takes responsibility for our wellbeing, by His unconditional Love and Investment in our restoration. He rescues from the places of scattering – marked by fear, depression, and loss – that occur in “cloudy and dark” seasons (v.12). Those He rescued, He gathered and restored to their own land (v.13). This signifies a return to spiritual, emotional, or physical stability and inheritance. He followed this with the abundant provision of “good pasture” and a "rich pasture” on the mountains of Israel (v.14). Beloved, if we feel "scattered" – emotionally drained or spiritually dry – let’s trust the Good Shepherd rather than running in panic.

Divine Visitation brings supernatural sustenance! Finally, the Shepherd made His sheep lie down in rest and safety (v.15). It is not enough to be fed; He ensures we find peace and rest from the battles of life. God specifically addresses the wounded – seeking the lost, bringing back the stray, binding the injured, and strengthening the weak, ensuring individualised healing and well as corporate well-being (v.16). If only we can allow God to heal our ‘injuries.’ This requires vulnerability – confessing our weakness and allowing Him to bind our brokenness. It’s important to recognize the Voice of the Shepherd and follow Him. A nudge to pray, read the Word, or fellowship is the Shepherd calling!

In Jesus’ Name I affirm that:

God is visiting me for restoration, and the days of being scattered are over. I shall never stray from the sheepfold of the Good Shepherd.

By the light of Divine Visitation, dark and cloudy days are terminated. I receive spiritual and physical healing for every wounded area of life.

I am rescued from the snares of wicked shepherds, and relocated from the land of emptiness to my own fruitful and prosperous land.

I shall feed on the high mountains of Divine Provision as the Lord makes me to lie down in green pastures, and have rest from life’s struggles.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
