“So teach us to number our DAYS, that we may gain a HEART of WISDOM” – Psalm 90:12
In all spheres of existence, fruitfulness, growth and maturity answer to the WISDOM of TIMING: “So teach us to number our DAYS, that we may gain a HEART of WISDOM” (Psa.90:12). Moses declared concerning the Eternal God: “Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God” (vv.1-2). Only the Almighty exists outside of Time. However, according to the abundance of His Mercy and Grace, He created us in His Image and Likeness, as Creatures of Eternity passing through Time!
Verse 4 says about the Eternal God, “For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night.” That’s how God’s perspective of Time differs from ours. We manifest within limited, transient time: “They are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up; in the morning it flourishes and grows up; in the evening it is cut down and withers” (vv.5-6). The psalmist then estimated the typical duration of human life: “The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty...” (v.10a). Recognizing the brevity, frailty, and temporality of life on earth, should cause us to “number our days” and “gain a Heart of Wisdom.”
As tiny as it is in contrast to Eternity, God does not trifle with Time. God values Time. God numbers Time, and encourages us to do so. Let’s think about the time a baby spends in the mother’s womb, from conception to delivery. In His Wisdom, God set specific time durations for the delivery of various species of animals. For human beings, Nine months is the expected duration of pregnancy. The accounts in Luke 1, narrate how Elizabeth at an old age, conceived according to God’s promise (Lk.1:13). As anointed as John was however, he had to spend his full time in the mother’s womb: “Now Elizabeth’s FULL TIME came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son” (Lk.1:57).
Every process of development, growth, and maturity in God operates by the Wisdom of Timing. When the angel of the Lord visited Mary, to announce to her the miraculous conception of the Baby Jesus, the messenger referred to Elizabeth as being six months pregnant (Lk.1:36). That means: God knows the Timing of every baby in every womb! As with Elizabeth, so it was with Mary: “...while they were there, the DAYS were COMPLETED for her to be delivered” (Lk.2:6). Despite being the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, Baby Jesus completed His Time in the womb! May God grant us the Wisdom to always patiently wait for His Timing of Complete Delivery of our Blessings and Miracles!
God will not break His Principles, especially the Laws of Times and Seasons. Timing is vital to Destiny Fulfilment. In order to fully experience God’s Peace in Life’s stormy seas, we must learn to discern, accept, appreciate, and adapt to God’s Perfect Timing. God accomplishes His Will in each individual’s life in His Perfect Time: “He has made everything beautiful in ITS TIME” (Ecc.3:11a). King Saul lost his kingdom to the folly of impatience; not waiting fully “according to the TIME SET by Samuel” (1Sam.13:8). Galatians 4:4 says, “But when the FULLNESS of TIME had come, God sent forth His Son” (Gal.4:4a). Ephesians 1:10 speaks of “the dispensation of the fullness of the times”! Acts 2:1 reveals that “When the Day of Pentecost had FULLY COME...” the Promised Holy Spirit filled the waiting hearts and lives in the Upper Room.
Fullness of Time is Set Time: “You will arise and have mercy on Zion, for the Time to Favor her, Yes, the SET TIME, has come” (Psa.102:13).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
