And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; DAVID RECOVERED ALL – 1 Samuel 30:19 (NKJV)
Recovery refers to finding something you once had which was misplaced or lost. The Bible tells of how someone was felling trees by the riverside, and the axe head fell into river Jordan. Through God’s miraculous intervention by way of Elisha’s prophetic ministry, the borrowed axe head was recovered (2Kgs.6:5-7). Recovery could be partial or full. Partial recovery is when the sign remains to indicate that something was once lost. When a wound is healed, a scar is left behind, indicating the loss of skin that was once smooth. This was the case with Samson, who lost his eyes to the Philistines after his fall from grace. Although his hair grew back, and a portion of his strength returned, blindness remained the scar of his tragic loss.
Praise God for His Mercy which is potent enough to wipe off all the evidence of loss in our lives and guarantee full recovery. Full recovery is when someone recovers every precious thing that was lost. It is that dimension of recovery that leaves no trace of loss. When Namaan the leper, in response to Elisha’s prophetic instruction, dipped himself into River Jordan seven times, he came out clean and whole as though he never was a leper. His skin was replaced with that of a new born child. No sign of leprosy was left behind (2Kgs.5:14). That’s a classic example of full or total recovery.
One day the Amalekites swept down on King David's hometown, burning it to the ground and taking the families captive. Amidst this scene of devastation, David and his men "lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep" (v.4). Grief over losses could be a healthy emotional outlet, but it doesn’t result in restoration. David encouraged himself in the Lord and inquired from Him, and God assured David, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all” (v.8). As surely as God’s Word affirmed, David and his men recovered everything they had lost, and much more besides, for our God of restoration is also the God of abundance.
David believed God’s Prophetic Word, and he recovered all. God’s plan is for you to recover all. Believe His Word, walk by His instruction, and you’ll recover all. This is your season of Restoration and of Total Recovery. If you’ll trust God and obey His Word, He’ll cause you to recover on all sides – physically, mentally, maritally, financially, socially, and spiritually.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
