“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that TIMES of REFRESHING may come...” – Acts 3:19a
Repentance and Forgiveness directly precede TIMES of REFRESHING: “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that TIMES of REFRESHING may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19). This was part of the powerful sermon at the Temple’s Beautiful Gate. Following the miraculous healing of the lame man, Peter emphasized that physical restoration comes not from human ability, but through faith in Jesus’ Name. The same Name that saves spiritually also heals brokenness and restores to wholeness. Peter directed the astonishment of the crowd away from himself and toward Jesus Christ, noting two key truths: Repentance and Conversion.
Peter called his audience to “repent and turn to God” – not merely feeling sorry for past mistakes; but making a deliberate U-turn in thinking and behaviour. Conversion is God’s transforming grace that follows, making us new creations and leading to spiritual awakening and divine restoration. The resulting Refreshment flowed from total forgiveness through the blotting out of sins. When the heavy burden of sin is removed, a spiritual revival – a cool, divine breath of peace and renewal – enters the believer’s heart, just like cool water refreshes a weary traveller. In this sin-soaked world, it’s wise to embrace daily repentance, seeing it, not as a morbid act, but as a gateway to God’s Hospital. Repentance is not a barricade to keep us from enjoying life; it is the open doorway to the place where true peace and refreshing are found.
Making a habit of daily self-examination will sustain a soft heart and clear conscience. However, to repent is not to hold on to past guilt. No! Satan must not be allowed to accuse us of past sins that God has already completely erased and forgiven. He does not keep a hidden record of forgiven sins. He gives us a fresh slate and a brand-new beginning. We must let go of past sin and stand in the freedom of Christ. Also, let’s seek God in times of weariness. When we feel overwhelmed by worldly anxieties, we cannot rely solely on human coping mechanisms. Rather, we must seek the Presence of the Lord in prayer and quiet meditation, for renewed strength and a genuine spiritual reset (Isa.40:31).
In Jesus’ Precious Name, I affirm that:
I repent of every thought, habit, and action that has hindered my divine fellowship, and receive Times of Refreshing from His Presence into all aspects of my life.
I am forgiven, cleansed, and made whole by the precious blood of the Lamb. I release all past guilt, shame, and condemnation because my sins are completely wiped out.
The Spirit of God is breathing fresh life, hope, and vision into my destiny. The joy of the Lord is my strength, and His Presence continuously revives my spirit.
I receive divine restoration for every wasted season and lost opportunity. I walk in a renewed mind, focusing on things that are pure, lovely, and of good report.
I am a child of God, destined to flourish and experience His supernatural peace in every area of my life. The Lord turns every spiritual drought into seasons of abundant, overflowing blessings.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
