Bible Meditation:
1 Kings 8: 54-60

There has not failed one word of ALL HIS GOOD PROMISE, which He promised through His servant Moses” – 1 Kings 8:56b

Like Joshua about four centuries earlier, Solomon testified to God’s absolute faithfulness to His DIVINE PROMISES: Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of ALL HIS GOOD PROMISE, which He promised through His servant Moses (1 Kgs.8:56). This passage recounts King Solomon's prayer at the dedication of the Temple, focusing on God's fulfillment of His promises to Israel. In this pivotal verse, the king concluded the Temple dedication by declaring God’s total faithfulness. After 490 years, every promise made to Israel through Moses was fulfilled, signifying that God's Word never fails!

Our meditation passage highlights certain key lessons. First, is the Place of Praise to God: Solomon began by blessing God, emphasizing His faithfulness over the physical Temple. Second, is the Promise of Rest, signifying the peace and security granted to Israel, fulfilling promises found in Deuteronomy 12:9-10. Solomon’s statement in verse 56 highlights the absolute reliability of God's promises, asserting that every word spoken has been fulfilled. The mention of promises “through His servant Moses” confirms God's commitment to covenants made in the past. Just as God kept His promises to Israel, we the Believers of today can trust that His promises to us are true (2Cor.1:20).

Based on the truths of this passage, let’s together make these prophetic declarations, in Jesus’ name:

I acknowledge the covenant-keeping God and express gratitude for His unfailing promises.

I declare that the Lord is giving me rest from all adversaries, enemies, and surrounding battles, just as He promised. Not one word of all His good promises over my life, family, finances, career, and ministry will fail.

I declare that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Lord of the Apostles, will be with me, never leaving nor forsaking me. The Lord is inclining my heart toward Him, to walk in all His ways.

I declare that my heart is wholly devoted to the Lord, and I walk in obedience to His commandments. The Lord is upholding my cause and the cause of my household daily, as each day demands.

I declare that I have moved from the wilderness of struggle into my land of promise and rest; and all the people around me will see that the Lord is God and there is no other in my life.

I declare that the peace of God which passes all understanding is ruling in my heart and mind. My life is a living testimony of the absolute faithfulness of God to His Word.

I affirm my faith in God’s Word and His ability to deliver on His promises. I proclaim God’s continued Presence, Guidance, and Provision, trusting that He will provide rest and always uphold my cause.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
