LEARNING OBEDIENCE

Though He was a Son, yet He LEARNED OBEDIENCE by the things which He suffered – Hebrews 5:8

LEARNING TO GROW

But speaking the truth in love, may GROW UP in all things into Him who is the head – Christ – Ephesians 4:15

LEARNING TO CHANGE

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord – 2 Corinthians 3:18

LOVING TO LEARN

And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard His Word – Luke 10:39

LEARNING TO LEARN

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning – Proverbs 9:9

LIFELONG LEARNING

But as for you, CONTINUE in the things which you have LEARNED and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them – 2 Timothy 3:14

TEACHABILITY

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction – Proverbs 1:7

Of all the essential qualities for being a sound leader in the body of Christ and in life in general, one virtue that perhaps stands out is the quality of TEACHABILITY. I’ll define this as the  lifelong dimension of teachableness! I’ll describe it as the attitude, posture and disposition of being a perpetual and unrepentant lifelong learner. We’ll focus more on that shortly.

A TEACHABLE SPIRIT

And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him – Acts 8:31

AM I TEACHABLE?
