UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF GOD

“Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not UNDERSTAND the Scriptures or the POWER OF GOD” – Mark 12:24 (NASV).

ANOINTED WITH POWER

“How GOD ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY SPIRIT and WITH POWER, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” – Acts 10:38

GOD’S POWER IN GOD’S PEOPLE

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the POWER that WORKS IN US – Ephesians 3:20

CHRISTIANITY IS SUPERNATURAL

“That I may know Him, and the POWER of HIS RESURRECTION, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death” – Philippians 3:10

WITNESSES WITH GREAT POWER

And with GREAT POWER the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all – Acts 4:33

KINGDOM, POWER AND GLORY

“For the KINGDOM of GOD is not in word, but in POWER” – 1 Corinthians 4:20

THE SON OF GOD WITH POWER

And declared to be THE SON OF GOD WITH POWER, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: – Romans 1:4

POWER AS OF OLD

He has declared to His people the POWER of HIS WORKS, in giving them the heritage of the nations – Psalm 111:6

God’s POWER as in the DAYS OF OLD still exists. Faith enables us to move beyond the natural and to tap into God’s Supernatural Power. And Faith comes by hearing the word of God (Rom.10:17). Here is a catalogue of some of the numerous miracles and wonders that demonstrate “the POWER of HIS WORKS” in the Old Testament:

SUPERNATURAL POWER

Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them POWER and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases – Luke 9:1

ULTIMATE POWER AND DELEGATED POWER

“The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S; but the earth He has given to the children of men” – Psalm 115:16

Our Vision
