Bible Meditation:
1 John 4: 7-21

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God – 1 John 4:7

GOD is LOVE, and He wants you to be filled with the FULLNESS of HIS LOVE! Many religions have what they believe are holy sites or temples, but our heavenly Father has chosen us His children to be His dwelling place, if we are willing. The Creator of the universe is not impressed with buildings, sites or shrines: This is what the LORD says:  “Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool.  Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest? “For My hand made all these things, thus all these things came into being,” declares the LORD.  “But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word (Isa. 66:1-2). The Lord is seeking for those who are humble before Him and who take His word very earnestly, even to the point of obedience. He will live inside of such persons.

You are made in the image of the God of Love – Love personified: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not does not know God; for God is love” (1Jh.4:7-8). You were created for love. Your purpose is to give love and receive love. God made you in His image so that you could experience the fullness of His love. He desires to have the most intimate relationship with you possible: you in God and God in you, united in love. Jesus came to restore our ultimate purpose of a holy relationship with God. He prayed that the same love that God the Father has would be in you: “And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them” (Jh. 17:26). He revealed God as His Father and your Father. As Jesus walked the earth His mission was to reveal the heart of His Father, the God of love.

God sent His Son to reveal His love. It is through knowing God, heart-to-heart, that we come to experience His love. Your mission is to experience and reveal God’s love; just as Jesus did. Jesus continues to reveal the Father through His Body, the Church, which includes you if you are willing. Paul prayed: For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…that He would grant you…to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in LOVE, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; to know the LOVE of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Eph. 3:14-19).

God desires to fill you with His fullness. The indwelling Holy Spirit is proof of His love for you: “By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit” (1Jh. 4:13). Your faith is proof of your love for God. However, faith without works is dead; faith without obedience is not faith. Obedience to God proves your faith. As you make a home for Christ in your heart through faith and obedience, He’ll give you revelations of the greatness of His love – the width, length, depth, and height. “To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge” means much more than mental knowledge, but to “know absolutely” – to experience. You are not to just know about God’s love; but to experience it. This is the greatest pleasure that you are created to enjoy. As you continue to walk in God’s kind of love, you become filled with all the fullness of God. Love creates the atmosphere for God to dwell.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
