GOD WILL TOUCH YOU GRACIOUSLY

And HE TOUCHED her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them – Matthew 8:15

To the rebellious, the Hand of the Lord is a smiting and wounding one. But to His beloved ones, His Hand is a Creative Hand, a Healing Hand, and a Strengthening Hand – to our hearts and bodies. His hand of Grace touches us to bring peace and comfort. There is no furrow in the brow which God’s finger cannot smooth away. There is no burden upon the shoulders or yoke upon the neck, which His hand cannot remove and destroy (Isa.10:27).

God wants to touch you in the condition in which you are right now. Jesus did not hold back from touching the leper and releasing His cleansing and healing power (Matt.8:3). Peter’s mother-in-law also tasted of the touch of the Lord (Matt. 8:15). He touched the eyes of the blind and they regained their sight (Matt.9:29, 20:34). He touched Peter, James, and John on the Mount of Transfiguration, and drove out their fear (Matt.17:7). He touched the bier of the dead, and life defeated death at the gate of Nain (Lk.7:14). God is set to touch all dimensions of our lives with His Compassion, Favour, Goodness, and Mercy.

The LORD also wants you to touch Him by faith. The woman with the issue of blood knew what this meant: “For she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole” (Matt.9:21). She had spent all her assets in seeking healing from physicians to no avail. Only a Divine Touch could put an end to her years of agony and sorrow. As she encountered the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, her faith was strong; she believed in her heart that all she needed from Him was a divine touch, for her to be made whole. Even the Lord Jesus Himself commended her singular act of faith!

The Almighty God will touch and perfect everything concerning you in Jesus’ Name. If your heart is so heavy that you are thinking you would never be able to rejoice again, the Lord will touch you and that depression will flee in a moment! Make room for the royal hand of the King of kings to touch your soul and heal your body. He wants to touch every fibre of your being – spirit, soul, and body – make you well and whole all through. Are you also willing to touch Him by faith?
