Luke 6: 20-38

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that he is a REWARDER of those who diligently seek Him – Hebrews 11:6

The Almighty God is the Greatest Rewarder, especially of those who diligently seek Him (Heb.11:6). God promises to reward us for how we serve Him on earth. He is the only authentic Giver of Good, Sure, and Great Rewards, both in time and eternity. What Good Rewards has God promised in His Word? Here are six significant examples of Good Rewards:

  1. Faith-filled prayer and fasting: “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will REWARD you OPENLY.” The same is said concerning the proper approach to Fasting (vv.17-18). Live a life of seeking God through prayer and fasting.
  2. Compassion for the Needy: “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ (Mt.25:37-40). Caring for the vulnerable by clothing, feeding, and welcoming them is seen by God as clothing, feeding, and welcoming Christ Himself, and will surely be rewarded!
  3. Enduring Persecution for Christ’s Sake: “Blessed are you when men hate you…for the Son of Man’s sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven…” (Lk.6:22-23).
  4. Love for your enemies: “But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil” (Lk.6:35). Christ showed the Father’s grace by loving His enemies and gives us the opportunity to show His grace and gain eternal rewards in return.
  5. Generous Giving: “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you” (Lk.6:38).
  6. Hospitality that cannot be re-paid: “But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just” (Lk.14:13-14).

God always rewards true love from the heart, as well as acts of compassion, generosity, and liberality. Give yourself enthusiastically and passionately to good deeds, and you will receive sure and uncommon rewards in time and eternity.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
