Bible Meditation:
Ephesians 3: 14-21

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” – Ephesians 3:20

The Power that works in the Believer includes INSIGHT and FAITH for IMPACT: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Eph.3:20-21). Insight and Faith are two crucial divine factors for manifesting meaningful Impact. Insight is a gift from God which includes the ability to: understand His Purposes, Principles and the Big Picture; harmonize Biblical Truths; discern God’s Will, apply Biblical principles to daily life; and make wise decisions. Faith is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Heb.11:1).

In essence, Insight feeds Faith with spiritual substance! Insight is a spiritual quality that enables us to understand God’s Will, Ways, and World beyond the superficial. Insight is closely related to Discernment, Discretion, Good Sense, Prudence, Wisdom, and Understanding. Both Insight and Faith are generated from within the Believer’s heart – the human spirit – through the operations of the Indwelling Holy Spirit. However, Faith has more visible and tangible external expressions than Insight. The two, working together, produce remarkable Impact.

In this chapter, the apostle Paul describes the gospel as a revelation that comes from God. The truth revealed in the gospel is more than a matter of common sense. Therefore, instead of using clever arguments to persuade his audience, Paul adopted a more radical strategy. He prayed for them: “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (v.14). Paul asked God to strengthen Believers “with might through His Spirit in the inner man” (v.16). He prayed for Christ to dwell in their “hearts THROUGH FAITH” and that they “being ROOTED and GROUNDED in love, may be able to COMPREHEND with all the saints” multiple dimensions of the Love of Christ (vv.17-19).

The Ultimate Goal is that of being “filled with all the fullness of God” (v.19). Growing in our understanding of Christ is not merely a matter of collecting facts or enunciating doctrinal positions. The starting place is a relationship with Christ, facilitated by the Holy Spirit. Experiencing His Power in the “inner being” guarantees that Christ dwells in our hearts through faith (vv. 16–17). Rather than earn His Love, Believers are rooted in love like a tree is rooted in the soil. Our Christian life is built upon the foundation of knowing that Jesus Christ already loves us.

The Holy Spirit is the Agent of the Power to comprehend Divine Truth. The place of experience is in the inner being. And, by the Force of Faith, God is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” (v.20). Insight and Faith produce surpass Impact!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
