“I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help? MY HELP comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth” – Psalm 121: 1-2
The Lord God of all Creation is the Author and Ultimate Source of the LIGHT of HOPE and HELP: “I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help? MY HELP comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth” (Psa.121:1-2). The opening question of where our help comes from is answered with a resounding confidence, “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (v.2). God is the Source of our Hope and Help. God is both our Maker and Helper. David presented the great testimonial of our absolutely reliable Helper! Whatever may come in life’s journey, God watches over us. He neither slumbers nor sleeps (v.4). He keeps us in His care (vv. 5-7). He will watch over us both in this life’s journey and forevermore (v.8). We can trust in the steadfast refuge of His care and provision.
Hope in God is always met by His Help. The Lord watches over our lives and destinies, to keep us from all evil. When life seems desperate and pain acute, as Believers in Christ, we can lift our heads and eyes to find Hope and Help in the Maker of heaven and earth: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea” (Isa.46: 1-2).No matter the trouble or struggle, we’re never alone. We have God to rely on and come to.
The Lord will never abandon us or merely wish us luck. Rather, He walks with us through the troubles as our Defence, Strength, Stronghold, Shepherd, Sustainer, and very present Help! God must be our first resort, Refuge, and Hope. We may experience tough times, but that does not mean make us hopeless or helpless. Connected to the Eternal Source of Salvation and Sustenance, we are never without Strength or Hope. We can rest assured that we’re safe in the Hands of the Lord, the Controller of our circumstances.
The world is passing through times of gross darkness: “Behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the peoples, but upon you shall my light arise, and my glory shall be seen on you” (Isa.60:2). Humanity is at the low ebb in the darkest valley, but those who hold on to Hope in God’s Help will break through into the Light, arise, shine, and manifest God’s Glory. By His Mercy: The LORD will be our Keeper and Shade. The sun of evil shall not smite us by day, nor the moon of wickedness by night. The LORD shall preserve us from all evil; He shall preserve our souls. The Lord shall preserve our going out and our coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. Amen!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
