THE LIGHT OF INSTRUCTION

Take firm hold of INSTRUCTION, do not let go; keep her, for she is your life – Pro. 4:13

Instruction is Light. Divine instructions are the signposts along the journey of destiny. They are the road marks along life’s path, positioned to ensure that we do not miss the way. The Light of Instruction is invaluable and priceless. Instructions are key instruments for triumph in life. 2 Timothy 3:16 says: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for INSTRUCTION in righteousness.” He who toys with the Light of Instruction may end up in confusion, frustration, desolation, or ultimately fall into destruction.

“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning” (Pro. 9:9). None of us was born with great knowledge. We became what we are. We learned what we know. We need to keep, cherish, respect and embrace God’s instructions as our very life. We must never allow sin, the world or the devil to hide His Light of instruction from us. “There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Pro. 14:12).  

Let us declare in the precious name of Jesus:

I will never deviate into the ways of destruction.

I will not detract into the wrong paths.

I will not follow the sinful paths of the flesh.

I will not follow the slippery paths of the world.

I will not follow the counsel of the ungodly.

Instruction is your Life and Light: “For the commandment is a lamp, and the LAW is LIGHT; reproofs of INSTRUCTION are the way of life” (Pro.6:23). Instructions will guide you in the way of life, in the right paths: “He who keeps INSTRUCTION is in the way of life, but he who refuses reproof goes astray” (Pro.10:17). This is the promise of the Father: “Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way they should go” (Isa.48:17).
