BE STILL, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth – Psalm 46:10
As we round off the series on PEACE, the words of David in the tenth verse of the forty-sixth Psalm are echoed in the hymn “Be Still, My Soul”:
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.
That beautiful and comforting hymn reflects the great reality of Scripture. In a world full of fear, Jesus came as the Prince of Peace (Isa.9:6). We desperately need His peace, and He is more than willing that we encounter, experience and enjoy this supernatural serenity. In our darkest, roughest or toughest moments, we can rest, for our Lord conquered the devil, darkness and death on our behalf.
Be still, knowing that He is God. Let the able and faithful One guide and guard you all the way. Allow the Lord to put your greatest fears to flight. As you look to Him in faith, He will fight your fears, calm your heart and silence all storms.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
