Exodus 23: 20-30

“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into THE PLACE which I have PREPARED” – Exodus 23:20

One of the practical challenges of Destiny Fulfilment is locating the PLACE of VISION in the Context of Reality: “Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into THE PLACE which I have PREPARED. Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgression; for My Name is in Him” (Exo.23: 20-21). Many people find it hard to contextualize or place their visions into reality. Such visions remain in the realm of fantasies until the visionaries have passed on. Placing the vision into practical settings would acknowledge the fact that God has in mind “a place of blessing,’ a Prepared Place, for the fulfilment of every vision.

In Genesis 13:14, the Lord told Abram after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look FROM THE PLACE where you are – northward, southward, eastward, and westward.” Looking from any other place would have produced an inaccurate perspective. At every point in life, we need God to reassure us of where we are, and instruct us on where to go, where to turn, what to do next, and what to focus on: “Like a bird that wanders from its nest is a man who wanders from HIS PLACE” (Pro. 27:8). Along the wilderness journey, Moses ensured that “in THE PLACE where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would pitch their tents” (Num. 9:17). Am I in the Place of my Vision?

God commanded Isaac to dwell and sow in Gerar. He obeyed and was stupendously blessed (Gen.26: 1-6, 12-14). Jacob carelessly drifted from the heavenly vision he had received, into a backslidden state, until God restored him to his senses: “Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there” (Gen.35:1a). In essence: “Return to the Place of your Vision”! With a vision of imminent judgement coming upon the city of Nineveh, Jonah was unwilling to go and warn the people to repent. Rather than follow divine direction, he jumped into a ship facing Tarshish – opposite to his vision. God caught up with him and drafted him forcefully (Jon.3;1-3). We need not be dragged back to the place of Vision!

We each have a purpose and mission on earth, for which we must discover God’s Vision. Beloved, have you identified your position in God’s Plan? Have you found your Place in His Purpose? The Lord says, “I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to THIS PLACE. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jer. 29:10-11). Are we willing to pay the price in prayers and discipline to place our visions in the molds of time and space?

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
