SUPER-ABUNDANT

And the GRACE of our Lord was exceeding abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus – 1Timothy 1:14

The highest Grade of Grace is SUPER-ABUNDANT Grace: And the GRACE of our Lord was EXCEEDING ABUNDANT, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus (1Tim. 1:14). This is the grace beyond fathomable measures; the grace for the supernatural and miraculous; the exceeding abundant grace that works in the realms of faith and love for unique deliveries in destiny. We serve a great and awesome God who can do exceedingly abundantly more than we ask: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Eph.3:20). You have the power inside you today to overcome every temptation you're facing right now. You just need to tap into that grace.

Rather than to quit and give up in discouragement, consider the long and difficult process by which a butterfly emerges from its cocoon. You do not have to rush God's purpose and process in your life, and end up producing something deformed. Job said, “…All the days of my hard service I will wait, till my change comes” (Job 14:14). But by God's grace he survived and ended up with twice as much as he lost. Hold on, your change is coming! God won't give up on you, so don't give up on Him! There's divine work going on in you right now. Something is dying that has to die, so that something better can be brought to life. Give it room. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego told the king, “We will not bow down to your gods” (Dan.3:18). Refuse to bow to temptation, manipulation or ungodly persuasion. Don't surrender to selfish ambition, self-promotion or the spirit of anxiety and impatience. Continue to walk by faith and not by sight, knowing that God “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we are able to ask or think” (Eph.3:20). As you wait, God will make the pieces fit together. He won't disappoint you.

Super-abundant Grace works “with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus” (1Tim.1:14). The preceding paragraph focused on faith. This Grade of Grace also enables us to fulfil the greatest commandment: to love God with all our hearts and love others with the same concern that we show for ourselves (Mk.12:30-31). When we obsess over ourselves, we lose the meaning of life, which is to love and serve God and love and serve our neighbours. Without commitment, our individual lives will be barren and sterile. Without the commitment of love, our lives will lack meaning and purpose. After all, if nothing is worth dying for, then nothing is worth living for. Jesus taught that the only way to live abundantly is to die to self-interest and give yourself fully to God and to those who need what God has given you."

As you walk in faith and love, God will come with restoration of abundant joy: “The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for the, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing…And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away" (Isa.35:1-2, 10). Rejoice, the God of all grace is a God of restoration. His super-abundant grace will usher you into a super-abundant future! Your best days are ahead of you!
