“That you may WALK WORTHY of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” – Colossians 1:10
Beloved, on the authority of God’s Word, I affirm that YOU WILL WALK WORTHY IN DESTINY. This is a vital aspect of God’s Perfect Will. As Paul prayed for the Colossians, I pray for you: “that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light” (Col.1:9-11).
DESTINY FULFILMENT is what fills the void between salvation and heaven – how God wants you to live in the in-between. After salvation, some believers are left wondering what’s next. Are they simply to attend church habitually and wait to go to heaven? We discover from Scripture that God has plans that He desires to work out in our lives. He designed a unique plan for you before you were ever born – and wants you to pursue it with anticipation and confidence. God has established principles to guide our walking in His Plan; and to live the abundant life as we seek His will, learn His ways, and engage in His purposes on the pathway of destiny.
God wants us to know His will. Colossians 1:9-12 makes this very clear and explains God’s goals for all believers. This passage describes what God wants for us, and first among them is the knowledge of His will. Every day of our lives should be lived for Him rather than simply going through the motions of joining a church and then living as we please. As individuals, we are created with unique personalities, abilities, and opportunities. God has specific plans and desires for each of us. His Will concerns His good and wise choices regarding what we are to do and not do. None of us can make excuses, claiming we don’t have the right background or abilities to serve the Lord according to His plan. He knew each of us and designed His plans for our lives before we were born.
There are three aspects of God’s plan: His Predestined Will; His Moral Will; and His Desired Will.
God’s Predestined Will: is His overriding sovereign will by which He operates in this world and in our personal lives. These events are irresistible, unchangeable, and unconditional because they have been ordained by Almighty God. A good example is the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, an event that was predestined before the creation of the world.
God’s Moral Will: includes moral standards by which we are to live, as exemplified in the Ten Commandments (Exo.20:1-7), and explained and enlarged in the New Testament in passages such as 1 Thessalonians 4:1-5, which speaks of believers’ sanctification.
God’s Desired Will: encompasses God’s desires for His people and includes aspects of our salvation such as baptism, service, prayer, wise decisions, and a character that displays the fruit of the Spirit.
God wants us to know and obey His Will: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you” (Psa.32:8). How we conduct ourselves is important because we are responsible to live according to His will. We will each stand before the judgment seat of Christ to give an account of our lives; hence, we must strive to obey Him in every area of life. God enables, strengthens, guides, and helps us make wise choices in accordance with His will. Beloved, let nothing hinder you from living according to God’s will: not self-will, peer pressure, Satan’s taunts, doubt, feelings of unworthiness, fear, unbelief, wilful or secret sin. Never underestimate what the Lord can do in and through you, even when you think you have little to offer. Submit to Christ and begin living in the fullness of His Perfect Will for you.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
