Bible Meditation:
2 Corinthians 1: 1-7

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and GOD of ALL COMFORT – 2 Corinthians 1:3

GOD is totally committed to encouraging and strengthening our hearts through His PROMISES OF DIVINE COMFORT: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and GOD of ALL COMFORT, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God (1 Cor.1: 3-4). Divine Comfort is not mere sympathy; it is the active strengthening, aiding, and encouragement of the heart by God, particularly in times of intense conflict or affliction. Our compassionate Father empowers and enriches us to use personal experience of Divine Comfort to help those in trouble, granting them consolation and succour. Also, John 14:16-17 identifies the Holy Spirit as the Comforter.

God is the ultimate Source of all comfort, and this comfort is purposed to equip believers to, in turn, comfort others experiencing trouble. God's comfort is sufficient for all types of difficulties, and receiving His comfort through trials prepares us to empathize with and help those facing similar challenges. The concept of comfort is central in the New Testament's understanding of overcoming adversity.

Other biblical passages also speak to God's comforting nature. For example:

Psalm 23:4 suggests that God's guidance and protection offer comfort even in difficult times: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

Isaiah 66:13 portrays God's comfort as deep and personal, like a mother's: “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”

In Jesus’ name, I declare that:

The God of all Comfort encircles me with His comfort on every side. Current struggles will become testimonies of God's Comfort.

God's Comfort and Grace fill every challenging aspect of my life, and I receive divine strength to overcome feelings of being overwhelmed.

I am comforted in all areas: health, family, finances, and emotions. I am not alone, as the Holy Spirit is ever-present with and in me.

In Christ, I am becoming stronger through tribulation, and tougher than the tough times, as the Lord provides solace and removes burdens.

I am free fear and despair. I walk in confidence that God will comfort me continually and use my experiences to bless others.

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, Who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work” (2 The.2: 16-17).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
