THIS IS GRACE

For the Grace of God that bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men – Titus 2:11

Grace is often described as “the unmerited favour of God freely given to man”. In reality, Grace is more than this. Unmerited favour is only one half of Grace – the passive aspect. Grace is the unmerited favour of God personalized in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:14): “full of grace and truth”.

This is the Holy Spirit’s definition of Grace: Grace is God’s divine enablement and potential freely made available to man.

ABRAHAM’S FEARS AND FAILURES

And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael – Genesis 16:15

ABRAHAM’S FLAWS AND FALLS

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us – 2 Corinthians 4:7

ABRAHAM’S CALL TO PIONEER

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went – Hebrews 11:8

THE SEEN TEMPORAL AND UNSEEN ETERNAL

“For the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” – 2 Corinthians 4:18

Temporal things are temporary; they are “subject to change.” The things you see with the physical, natural eyes are always subject to change. They are subject to superior spiritual laws and forces, especially the unseen but highly potent force of faith. Sickness, lack, poverty, bondage and other negative afflictions are subject to change. The Word of God affirms that things which are seen are temporal!

THE SEEN AND THE UNSEEN

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” – 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

LEADERSHIP IS ACTION

Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work – Nehemiah 2:18

When God creates a leader, he gives him the capacity to make things happen.

“There are three kinds of people in the world –
those don’t know what’s happening,
those who watch what’s happening, and
those who make things happen”
(Nicholas Murray Butler, a former President of Columbia University)

CATCH YOUR VISION

“You need a vision in this vision-less generation! Modernity has made plainer the aimlessness of most people. Society has become so sophisticated and complex that the average person finds it difficult to focus. It is now a herculean task to see beyond one’s nose and know the way ahead.

THE ALABASTER BOX OF OINTMENT

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us – Mark 14:3

WANTED – MEN OF INTEGRITY

So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands – Psalms 78:72

The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God – 2 Samuel 23:3

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
