FAVOUR EMPOWERS LIFE

LORD, by Thy FAVOUR Thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide Thy face, and I was troubled – Psalm 30:7

LIFTINGS in life are functions of favour. God’s favour releases divine Strength and Empowerment into your life. It makes you ‘outstanding’ and ‘strong-standing.’ Whatever your hands are laid upon to do that are in line with divine Purpose, will always prosper by favour. Favour leverages every of your endeavour and makes you productive and profitable in destiny.

IN HIS FAVOUR IS LIFE

For His anger endureth but a moment; in His FAVOUR is LIFE: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning – Psalm 30:5

FAVOUR AND FULFILMENT

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage – Psalm 16:6

FULFILMENT in life and destiny is essentially a function of FAVOUR. Favour releases the FLAVOUR of FULFILMENT. A fulfilled life is one that is fully “maintained” by God. Such a person can say with the Psalmist: “…Thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psa. 16: 5-6). God ensures that the rod of the wicked never rests upon the lot of such a righteous person; as he or she is surrounded by favour (Psa. 5:12; 125:3a).

ANOINTING FOR FAVOUR

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, He reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine ANOINTED, and do my prophets no harm – Psalm 105: 14-15

THE SCEPTRE OF FAVOUR CANCELS DEATH

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord – Psalm 118:17

SEED-TIME-HARVEST AND FAVOUR

Whoever seeks good finds FAVOUR, but evil comes to one who searches for it – Proverbs 11:27 (NIV).

There is a Living Principle that runs through the Word of God: the SEED-TIME-HARVEST Principle. It states as follows: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Gen.8:22). The same principle is expressed in Galatians 6:7 – “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

COVENANT-FAVOUR AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: – Deuteronomy 28:1

POSITIONING FOR FAVOUR

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: – Isaiah 1:19

Covenant favour is not an accidental or chance happening (Isa.1:19). God often links favour to FAITH, faithfulness, and even small acts of obedience to His instructions or respect for His principles (2Kgs 8:1-6; Pro.16:7; Mt.25:28). Faith pleases God. FAITH procures FAVOUR!

Two Faces of Favour

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: – Ephesians 1:3

FAVOUR LIKE A SHIELD

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with FAVOUR wilt thou compass him as with a SHIELD – Psalm 5:12

Three living words: bless, righteous, favour! The Lord blesses the righteous with favour. The word ‘bless’ means to be divinely endowed to prosper. The ‘righteous’ is a person who has right standing with God through Christ Jesus; a forgiven one, without any form of guilt, shame or condemnation. ‘Favour’ is God’s Gaze, His wholesome attention, and the shining of His Face of delight and pleasure upon a person or group of people.

Our Vision
