“…Daughter, Your Faith Has Made You Well” – Mark 5:34b
Our Lord Jesus consistently revealed the Primacy of FAITH for DIVINE POSSIBILITIES: “Daughter, Your Faith Has Made You Well” (Mark 5:34b). The Mark 5 narrative demonstrates how Faith in the God overcomes human limitations. It interweaves the stories of a woman with a twelve-year incurable issue of blood and the twelve-year-old dying daughter of Jairus. Both situations were deemed impossible by human standards, yet both were transformed by Jesus’ Touch and Word. Here are three key lessons on Faith for Divine Possibilities:
First, faith-desperation stirs divine Intervention (vv.25-29). The woman with the issue of blood had exhausted her resources, only to grow worse. This negative condition had “controlled” her life for 12 long years. By the Mosaic regulations, this woman, anything, and anyone she touched was considered “unclean” (Lev.15:19-33). Beyond her financial plight, blood flowing from her body for 12 years must have sapped her strength and left her with other physical and emotional complications. Her “desperation” compelled her to push past social, legal, and physical barriers to touch the Lord. Sometimes God brings us to the end of our own strength so that we may rely entirely on His Power.
Second, Faith activates Power (vv.30-33). Many were pressing against Jesus, but only one touched Him in Faith. Proximity to Jesus is not the same as Faith in Him. Faith is the conduit that draws healing virtue from the Lord. Moreover, Faith “qualified” her! The Lord called her “Daughter” – restoring her identity from being an outcast to a child of God. Her faith – not just the action, but the belief behind it – activated her healing. She was to “go in peace” – state of total spiritual, emotional, and physical wholeness, and the “plague” was permanently gone!
Third, Fath in God can reverse the pronouncement of Death. When news came that Jairus’ daughter was dead, the Divine Command was: “...Do not be afraid, only believe” (vv.35-36). Fear is the enemy of faith. Although the situation shifted from “dying” to “dead,” the Lord called the dead child “sleeping” and restored her to life. The Author of Life reversed the assumed finality of Death (vv.37-43). For the Savior, death is no more final than sleep. He has authority over every limit, reversing natural laws and bringing life out of the grave.
“Impossible” situation are platforms for “Divine Possibilities"! Let’s move from Fear to Faith. Like the woman, we do not wait for the miracle to come; we take bold action, reaching out in faith through prayer and acting on the Word. The Lord didn't just heal the woman; He gave her peace. He didn't just heal the girl; He gave her life. God often gives more than we expect. Let’s declare in Jesus’ Name:
My faith activates the miracle-working Power of God. Because I have touched my Lord and Saviour, every long-term affliction is over.
I walk in peace and absolute wholeness of spirit, soul, and body. The enemy’s report is silenced, for I only believe the Report of the Lord.
I receive the resurrection power to revive dead dreams and destinies. I will not die, but live to declare the works of the Lord.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
