“...Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the CHILDREN’S BREAD, and to cast it unto the dogs” – Mark 7:27b
Our Lord Jesus Christ affirmed the Truth of HEALING as the CHILDREN’S BREAD: “But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs” (Mk.7:27). This was the response of our Lord Jesus Christ to a gentile woman who brought her daughter to Him to be healed. The Lord told her that the Bread of Healing was for the children (the Jews). This implied that Healing was the entitlement of God’s Covenant people. Of course, even the Gospel was still restricted to the Jews. To the Glory of God, in Christ Jesus today, as many as believe – Jews and Gentiles alike – can access His promises and covenants of blessings.
In a home, it is the father’s responsibility to provide bread and the children’s privilege to partake. A child need not beg for bread. It is the father’s delight to provide for his children. Our Lord Jesus said, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?” (Mt.7:11). The gentile woman was wise and humble enough to plead for mercy instead of trying to claim what she had to right to. The Lord of Mercy responded to her positively, and she returned home to find her daughter healed. She partook of the Bread of Healing on the platform of His Mercy, not on by right!
This same Mercy has engrafted us through Faith in Christ Jesus into the Commonwealth of Israel, to partake of the covenants of promise (Eph.2:12). However, we appropriate our healing only if we’re convinced that healing is in Christ’s atonement: “by whose stripes you were healed” (1 Pet. 2:24b). He took stripes for our healing! His sacrifice makes our healing a reality: “You were healed” – is past tense! We must believe not only that God can heal, but that Healing is His Will – He has provided for our healing: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes WE ARE HEALED” (Isa.53:5).
Jesus took stripes not only for the salvation of our souls, but also the healing of our bodies and minds. He wants us to sparkle in spirit, be sound in mind and strong in body. Healing is the children’s bread in God’s Family. But we must reach out in faith, believe, take authority over the devil and his foul spirits of infirmity, command them and their baggage of diseases to leave, and our body organs to receive healing, and be restored! Then, we can confidently declare: “Healing is my portion as God’s Child. By His stripes, I am healed, spirit, sound, and body.”

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
