POWER OVER WARS

He makes WARS to CEASE to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth” – Psalm 46:9 (NKJV)

POWER TO TREAD

Behold, I give unto you POWER TO TREAD on serpents and scorpions, and over all the POWER of the ENEMY: and nothing shall by any means hurt you – Luke 10:19

TAKE OVER POWER

And the LORD will make you the HEAD and not the tail; you shall be ABOVE ONLY, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them – Deuteronomy 28:13 (NKJV)

CARRIERS AND CHANNELS OF POWER

And God wrought special miracles by the HANDS of PAUL: so that from HIS BODY were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them – Acts 19:11-12

The Person of God’s power, the Holy Spirit, lives in the Church and also in every child of God. This means that there’s so much of God’s power on the inside of believers to minister to our world. The Holy Spirit is the Person of God’s power; hence, His advent on the day of Pentecost marked the phenomenal emergence and release of supernatural power (Acts 1:8).

MAKING A DEMAND ON DIVINE POWER

He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow RIVERS OF LIVING WATER. (But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive… – John 7:38-39a

If you’ve received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit’s indwelling Presence, you are definitely not powerless! When the Holy Spirit comes upon and into your life, God’s power begins to reside in you, irrespective of how you may be feeling. Your feelings or emotions do not determine whether God’s power is present or not.

THE ARENA OF DIVINE POWER

And they went forth, and PREACHED EVERYWHERE, the Lord WORKING WITH THEM, and CONFIRMING THE WORD with signs following. Amen – Mark 16:20

GOD’S UNSHAKEABLE KINGDOM

Wherefore we RECEIVING a KINGDOM which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: – Hebrews 12:28

DAGON-DESTROYING POWER

And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, DAGON WAS FALLEN upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him – 1 Samuel 5:4

ANOINTING: POWER FOR PERFORMANCE

How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY GHOST and WITH POWER: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD WAS WITH HIM – Acts 10:38

To anoint means “to smear with oil.” In the Bible, the anointing depicts a supernatural endowment on a person or object for the purpose of divine service. God uses only anointed vessels for holy service. He commanded Moses that the oil was not to be used for purposes other than His service. This supernatural endowment is also referred to as God’s Presence.

RELEASE OF PENTECOST POWER

Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now SEE and HEAR – Acts 2: 33
