“Bless the Lord, o my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; Who HEALS all your diseases” – Psalm 103: 2-3
David the Psalmist-King caught and conveyed a unique revelation of LIGHT for HEALING and HEALTH: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, o my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; Who HEALS all your diseases” (Psa.103: 1-3). David repeatedly commanded His soul and everything within him – all of the organs, nerves, veins, vessels, arteries, blood and water; his soul, mind, emotions, and reasoning faculties within him – to “bless” the Lord and His Holy Name, and to not forget ALL HIS BENEFITS, primary among which are forgiveness of ALL iniquities or salvation from sin and healing of ALL diseases.
Psalm 103 positions forgiveness of sins and healing of diseases atop the bountiful benefits that flow from our Merciful and Gracious God (vv.3, 8). ALL iniquities include every evil or sinful thing we’ve ever done, every bad thought we’ve ever entertained, and all dishonesty, hate, jealousy, resentment, unforgiveness, lusts, pride, and impure desires. His forgiveness is part of the healing process because, with unworthy thoughts, the body cannot function harmoniously. Negative thoughts injure and disturb the human body; whereas it responds in a healthy manner to forgiveness. GOD HEALS ALL diseases, beginning with the Disease of Sin, and restores the vigour of youth like the eagle’s. This imagery symbolises the energy, mastery, and vitality of a redeemed spirit, with a sound soul, renewed mind, and healthy body.
The rational mind would contest this truth that GOD HEALS ALL diseases! How do we explain the situations of many godly people who die of awful diseases? Interestingly, the devil knows these promissory scriptures too, and even quoted Psalm 91 to the Lord in Luke 4: 9-11, tempting Him to jump off the cliff because the Bible says angels would bear Him up from falling. That God heals all diseases does not imply that a Believer can never experience sickness of disease. That’s an oversimplification of scriptures. All sicknesses and diseases are subject to the Lord, and while we should desire, ask for, and thank God for healing and health, His Sovereignty cannot be questioned in any instance.
If in the transience of time, some situations of sickness seem to overwhelm or even lead to death, the Word of God remains infallible. Through and in them ALL, “we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Rom.8:37). Temporal setbacks or sufferings are “light afflictions” which work good for us now in all the ways that count, and prepare “a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Cor.4:17).
Beloved, whatever we may be passing through, let’s be continually thankful to God for: the forgiveness we have in Christ; sound health; redemption of our lives from destruction; God’s lovingkindness and tender mercies; and satisfaction with abundant provisions and renewal.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
