“God has spoken once, Twice I have heard that POWER BELONGS to GOD” – Psalm 62:11
Almighty God is the Absolute Possessor and Infinite Source and Supplier of Divine POWER for PERFORMANCE: “God has spoken once, Twice I have heard that POWER BELONGS to GOD” (Psa.62:11). This is a declaration of confidence: Power doesn't belong to the enemy, to the government, or to us – it belongs to God alone! This Power operates in all dimensions of life – spirit, soul, and body – and is available for believers to produce divine accomplishments, achieve exploits, overcome life’s obstacles, and fulfill divine purpose. Believers are anointed with God’s Power to perform His work with dynamism, effectiveness, and impact, rather than for personal glory.
In a world that often rewards self-sufficiency, boasting, and human connections, Psalm 62 reminds us that true strength and the ability to perform – bring things to pass – do not reside in connections, systems, jobs, or bank accounts, but in God. David, writing from a place of intense pressure – facing treacherous enemies and potential downfall – found his security not in his own strength, but anchored silence in God. Because Power Belongs to God, and He is also the God of Love and Mercy, we can trust Him to use that power on our behalf (v.12).
The psalm begins with an intentional decision to cease panic and rely solely on God (vv.1,5). True empowerment starts when we stop trying to fight in self-strength. David called God his Rock, Salvation, and Defense (v. 2). God is not just a Helper; He is the foundation upon which everything else in life stands. This contrasts the futility of human power (vv.9-10): Humans – low-born or high-born, are as a “breath” or “vapour” – transient and unreliable. Placing trust in people or amassing riches dishonestly is foolish, as they cannot save in the day of trouble. God's Word is however final, complete, and needs no revision. God does not make noise about His Power. When He speaks a promise of power once, it is settled. Hearing “twice” implies deep internalization, certainty, and constant remembering of the truth (v.11).
The power that produces lasting results comes from God's Mercy, not human manipulation (v.10). God’s Power is linked with Mercy (v.12). Power without Love is tyranny. God’s Power is balanced by His lovingkindness and steady love. He has the power to destroy, but He uses it to deliver and reward us by His Mercy. Since Power belongs to God, let’s align our confessions with His Word rather than circumstances.
I declare in Jesus’ Name, that:
All Power for my performance belongs to God, not to man. I receive divine ability to do things I could never do on my own strength.
Because God is my rock, I shall not be moved by the shaking of this world. My expectation is from the Lord, not from men or government.
I am shielded by the Power of God from every lie of the enemy. His Power breaks every chain and shackle in and around my life right now.
I align my life with His Will, so His Power is available for my assignments. As I wait on Him, my strength is renewed for peak performance.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
