And when the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her, and said unto her, WEEP NOT – Luke 7: 13
The latter part of today’s reading narrates the story of a widow, who perhaps once knew JOY, regressed into sadness and sorrow, but ultimately encountered the Great Restorer of JOY – the Lord Jesus Christ.
The day the woman wedded must have been a joyful day. Then she became pregnant and was blessed with a son, at which time she again must have greatly rejoiced. Suddenly, things changed. The spirit of death visited and snatched her husband. Her joy gave way to sorrow. To compound the tragedy, the life of her only son and only hope was snuffed off! They were on the way to bury the young man when the LORD of LIFE came calling. It seems He came into Nain just on this singular assignment! The procession of death bowed to the Celebration of Life at the gate of Nain! He that was dead was raised up. Hope was revived. A future was re-born. The Restorer of Joy restored her joy.
Beloved, what negative, sad or sorrowful events have marked your life’s profile thus far? Has tragedy threatened to become a permanent companion? In Jesus name, I say to your soul: “WEEP NOT!” Every thread and trend of tragedy is terminated in your life. Whatever is dying or already dead, and causing you to weep, is touched by the Author of Life. The procession of death which Satan intended for you shall not see the light of day. You will no longer hum mournful dirges of pain and sorrow. The serial stories of sadness and gloom give way to songs of gladness and melodies of joy in your life. The Eternal Restorer restores your stolen joy and causes your joy to flourish and be full.
For you who have known JESUS as Lord and Saviour, His desire for you is to begin to relish in the JOY of SALVATION. Your redemption is not an invitation to doom and gloom, but a Call into the exciting experiences of gladness and joy.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
