THE MAKING OF FINE WINE

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose – Romans 8:28

TOUGHENED THROUGH TOUGH TIMES

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold – Job 23:10

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: – 1 Peter 1:7

Tough Times are designed to toughen, not to terrify the believer!

TOUGHER THAN TOUGH TIMES

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world – John 16:33

No doubt, individuals, communities, societies, nations and the entire world are passing through tough times. God has however prepared us ahead with His Word of TRIUMPH, that we might be TOUGHER than TOUGH TIMES! We are to think, talk, walk, and live Triumph! Today’s message is to further strengthen your faith in this wise: If you are in Christ, God has made you to be tougher than tough times!

DON’T HANG YOUR HARP

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. Awake up, my glory; AWAKE, PSALTERY and HARP: I myself will awake early – Psalm 57:7-8

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. WE HANGED OUR HARPS upon the willows in the midst thereof – Psalm 137:1-2

Irrespective of our current situation or circumstances, You and I can choose to either AWAKE our harps or HANG our harps.

TRANSFORMING POWER OF GRACE

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me – 1 Corinthians 15:10

• Grace is God’s DIVINE ENABLEMENT freely made available to humankind.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32).

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (Ephesians 3:20).

TOUCH OF GRACE

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, GRACE. GRACE unto it – Zechariah 4:6-7

The RACE of Life demands the gift of GRACE.

Grace is one of the most commonly used words in the Bible, one of the greatest words in the Holy Scriptures, yet it is one of the least understood and appreciated words!

THE RACE SET BEFORE YOU

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us RUN with patience THE RACE that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12: 1-2

FROM LOCATION TO DESTINATION

“Though thy BEGINNING be small, yet thy latter END should greatly increase”
Job 8:7

“Better is the END of a thing than the BEGINNING thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit”
Ecclesiastes 7:8

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”
Proverbs 4:18

MAKE YOUR MOVE – MAKE YOUR MARK

For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off – Proverbs 23:18

It takes a “push” to make a “move”!
It takes a “move” to make a “mark”!
It takes motivation and motion to make your mark!!

PUT FEET TO FAITH

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith – Hebrews 11:7
