PURPOSE OF PENTECOST POWER

But ye shall receive POWER, after that the HOLY GHOST is come upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth – Acts 1:8

POWER TO BECOME

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me – 1 Corinthians 15:10

POWER TO BECOME SONS OF GOD

But as many as received Him, to them gave He POWER TO BECOME the SONS of GOD, even to them that believe on His name: – John 1:12 (KJV)

ONE PLUS GOD IS ALWAYS MAJORITY

With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah – 2 Chronicles 32:8

When Sennacherib, king of Assyria, invaded Judah, Hezekiah knew that Jerusalem – the city of Peace – would come under attack, so he went into action to defend the city. He built up the broken wall and raised up another outside of it. He also “made darts and shields in abundance” and “set captains of war over the people” (vv.5-6).

UNLEASHING GOD’S POWER TO WORK

And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD WILL WORK FOR US: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save BY MANY or BY FEW – 1 Samuel 14: 6

POWER OVER FEAR

And he answered, FEAR NOT: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them – 2 Kings 6:16

POWER OVER OPPOSITION AND ADULATION

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take Him by force, to make Him a king, He departed again into a mountain Himself alone – John 6:15

POWER OVER TEMPTATIONS

And lead us not into TEMPTATION, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the KINGDOM, and the POWER, and the GLORY, for ever. Amen – Matthew 6:13

The KINGDOM, the POWER and the GLORY belong to King Jesus! He is the Pinnacle of Poise and Power. A severe test of His inner strength came when He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Satan unleashed his ‘TRINITY of TEMPTATIONS’ against Jesus, but the Lord defeated the devil hands-down and overcame triumphantly!

GOD’S SHOW OF STRENGTH

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to SHEW HIMSELF STRONG in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him… – 2 Chronicles 16:9a

GOD IS GOD, SATAN IS NOT

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world – 1John 4:4

People often think of God and Satan as opposing but equal forces with the same unlimited power. This is however far from the truth! God is God and Satan is not! God is the Creator of all. Satan created nothing and he is a mere creature! God is the Originator and Possessor of Unlimited Power. Satan’s power is delegated, counterfeit or usurped by craftiness.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
