GOD’S WORD – A LAMP TO MY FEET

“YOUR WORD is a LAMP TO MY FEET and a light to my path” – Psalm 119:105                          

Darkness bows before me because GOD’S WORD is A LAMP TO MY FEET: “Your WORD is a LAMP TO MY FEET and a light to my path” (Psa.119:105). In ancient times, the only lights available for illumination were small oil lamps, no more than a palm-sized bowl, filled with oil and a single wick. They provided just enough light to illuminate a small area around a person. With their open tops, they were better suited for indoor use. 

GOD’S WORD GIVES LIGHT

“The entrance of YOUR WORDS GIVE LIGHT; it gives understanding to the simple” – Psalm 119:130          

GOD’S WORDS PURIFY

“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to YOUR WORD” – Psalm 119:9

GOD’S WORDS ARE PURE

“The words of the LORD are PURE WORDS: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times” – Psalm 12:6

ACTIVE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD’S WORD

“The law of the Lord is PERFECT, reviving the soul” – Psalm 19:7

GOD’S WORD IS TRUTH

“Sanctify them by Your truth; YOUR WORD IS TRUTH” – John 17:17 

GOD IS TRUE TO HIS WORD

“…Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” – Numbers 23:19

GOD’S WORD IS ETERNALLY SETTLED

“Forever, O LORD, Your WORD IS SETTLED in heaven” – Psalm 119:89

BEGIN WITH GOD’S WORD

“In the BEGINNING was the WORD, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” – John 1:1

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
